The actress who is also caught up with many controversies was initially linked up with director Vijay, it's said that Director Vijay bought a house for the actress.

Also the actress treatment to certain sections of the media is also firing up. The actress who was not present for the press meet of "Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi" also added up to this.
When asked about this to the producer of the movie Shashikanth, he said "Amala could not meet the press because she had an exam that day", but when someone from the media quizzed saying that the actress was seen cheering for the Chennai Rhinos team during their Celebrity Cricket League match the previous day with an important exam the next day.
