Golshifteh Farahani , An Iranian actress has been banned from returning to her homeland after appearing naked in a photoshoot.
She is more familiar to all of us as nurse “Aisha” in Ridley Scott action thriller movie “Body of Lies” in which Leonardo DiCaprio plays the lead. Golshifteh Farahani as Aisha is the love interest of Leo.
Government officials have reportedly told her that Golshifteh Farahani is no longer welcome in Iran after posing naked for a French news magazine named ‘Madame Le Figaro’.
The Actress who is based in Paris, left Iran last year and now she can't return to her home land after the nude protesting photo against restrictive Islamic dress codes for women.
When quizzed about this to the actress, she said, "I was told by a Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guide official that Iran doesn’t need any actors or artists”. She was even told that “You may offer your artistic services somewhere else."
