Midnight Children is a movie about a pair of children born at the time of India gaining its independence from England grow up in the country that is nothing like their parent's generation.

The movie is directed by Deepa Mehta, which is an adaptation from Salman Rushdie's Novel. The lead cast in the film includes Satya Bhabha, Shahana Goswami, Rajat Kapoor and others including Shabana Azmi, Shriya Saran.

The movie is expected to release on October 2012.
