Nayanthara who had decided not to act in another project after the movie Ramarajyam, Looks like she changed her mind now. Nayan who played the role of Seetha in Ramarajyam and won applause for her performance. As a result, Bollywood Ram Gopal Varm who after watching her play Seetha for the movie got impressed with her performance and offered her a role in his upcoming movie inspired by Ramayana in Hindi.


Initially both Nayan and her soon to be Husband Prabhu Deva refused the offer, RGV's perseverance lasted until they accepted the offer. Now it looks like, Nayanthara will play the role of Mandodari - Ravana's wife - in the movie which might be her last. Lead character Ravana is played by Nagarjuna.
