Nicole Kidman To Play War Correspondent Martha In "Hemingway and Gellhorn"

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has recently revealed that she grabbed the opportunity to play war correspondent Martha Gellhorn in a new TV film.

British actor Clive Owen, who is 47 years old, co stars as writer Ernest Hemingway in movie titled "Hemingway and Gellhorn," the movie which tells the story of their affair. Gellhorn became the dream girl and the third wife of Ernest Hemingway, who is the author of 'For Whom The Bell Toils,' after they met in the late 30's, but Martha's strong will led to a divorce in 1945.


Hemingway took his own life at the age of 61 in 1961 and Gellhorn followed suit in 1998, aged 89.

The actress said that "I love women who defy the odds and burn bright." The movie is expected to be released in May.
